A Family session with so much grace



There are families who make you feel at ease the moment you are around them, and Marcus and Stephanie are exactly that kind of family. Photographing them and their two boys was such a sweet reminder of why I love capturing these moments. Their home is filled with laughter, kindness, and a steady sense of love that you can feel even before you lift the camera.


I have known them through our church for a while now, and every time I see them I am struck by how genuine and grounded they are. They show up for people. They love their boys with intention. They carry themselves with a quiet grace that makes everyone around them feel welcome. Being able to document their family in this season felt like such an honor.

Their boys brought so much life to the session. They ran through the grass and flower fields with wide smiles and a good attitude for their Mom. They clung to their parents, then darted off again with that fearless joy that only children have. Watching Marcus and Stephanie guide them with patience and warmth made every moment feel natural and true. Nothing about this family feels forced. They simply are who they are, and that is what makes them so special.


Marcus has this calm strength about him, the kind that makes you feel like everything is steady and safe. You can see it in the way he watches his boys and in the way he looks at Stephanie.
